Although I'm not a journalist, I am a writer and over the years I've written a number of articles - mainly pertaining to the classes and courses I was teaching at the time. Some of these articles are still unsettlingly pertinent - it seems nothing much changes - so I decided to publish them again on this website.
The first article is about Manners, and whether they are still relevant in today's world.
I'd be pleased to hear your thoughts on any of them; maybe times have indeed changed and I need to catch up? Perhaps that's true, but I really feel that people haven't changed basically - they may have lost their way for the moment - who knows - but people are really the same. They want the same for their children that our grandparents wanted for theirs; they want to get along with other people with as little friction as possible; and they want to have a good life.
